What if AI could actually give leaders more time for the skills that matter most?

That’s the opportunity Tantzen sees.

When AI takes care of more routine tasks, the time we gain can be invested somewhere else: in conversations, feedback, collaboration and the moments that require a human on the other side.

For leaders, that distinction matters. AI can support communication, but it shouldn’t replace it. As more tasks become automated, knowing when to turn to AI and when a situation needs a real human conversation could become a leadership advantage.

Self-sufficiency can be a trap.

Modern tools give us instant access to answers, expertise and problem-solving. We can solve more on our own without disturbing a single person.

But productivity isn’t the same as connection.

AI can give us information. A colleague can give us context, encouragement, trust, and sometimes an answer to a question we didn’t even know we should ask. That’s the part that’s easy to overlook when every question can be answered without starting a conversation.

So, here’s our challenge for today: before asking AI, try asking a colleague instead.

You might get more than just an answer.

Sitting still for 8 hours shouldn’t feel like running a marathon. So why does a day of back-to-back video calls leave us completely drained?
It’s a paradox of the modern workplace: we are moving less, yet feeling more exhausted than ever.
The truth is, our brains just weren't built for video calls. When Stanford professor Jeremy Bailenson looked into "Zoom fatigue," he found four main reasons why virtual meetings wipe us out:
