The University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) Baby Webmasters bested the defending champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles, 71-64, in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. ( ) Season 25 High School Basketball Tournament on Sunday, October 12, at the Cebu Coliseum.

Noe Lingoste was hailed as Player of the Game, chipping in 12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and a steal.

The Baby Webmasters improved to a 3-1 slate. Meanwhile the Magis Eagles now have a 2-1 win-loss record.

JUST IN: UC buildings declared safe, online classes on October 2

The University of Cebu (UC) announced that all buildings across its campuses have been declared structurally safe following inspections conducted by the Building Engineers and the Emergency Response Team.

Despite this, classes will remain online on Thursday, October 2, 2025, as campus clean-up operations continue. Academic and administrative heads, supervisors, staff, maintenance personnel, and working scholars are requested to report on campus to recheck offices, assist in debris clearing, and prepare facilities for full operations.

Midterm examinations have been rescheduled to October 6 and 7, 2025, according to a memorandum issued by Dr. Yolanda Sayson, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs.| via Admin Cristiandion Ybañez

| Classes in all campuses and levels of the University of Cebu (UC) will be suspended tomorrow, September 26, 2025, due to the storm, as announced by Chancellor Candice Gotianuy in a Facebook post.

According to the announcement, onsite classes are suspended but sessions will continue through online platforms. Students and faculty are urged to take precautionary measures and stay safe.
