A fighting spirit and heartfelt congratulations to the delegates of Limay for never giving up and successfully finishing the 5-day National Age Group Chess Championship.

The tournament may have been challenging, but the experience, lessons, and exposure they gained from competing against the country’s best young players will surely guide them toward a brighter future in chess. Their dedication, courage, and eagerness to learn made Limay proud.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Mayor Richie Jason D. David and Vice Mayor David for their continuous support to our young chess players. Your assistance and belief in the youth greatly inspire them to pursue their passion and dreams.

Special thanks to Mayor Richie Jason D. David and Vice Mayor Grace David for their generous support to the Limayan young chess players in participating in the upcoming National Age Group Chess Championship on June 3–7, 2026 at the Olongapo City Convention Center.

We would also like to thank Kagawad Jesse Cabulao for extending additional assistance for the players’ other expenses.
