ALBAY PPO AND LIGAO RUNNING TEAM INC. SEAL COLLABORATION THROUGH MOA

To strengthen collaboration between the two organizations, the Albay Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PCOL NOEL DONATO NUÑEZ, Provincial Director, formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Ligao Running Team Inc., represented by Atty. Rodrigo Mark P. Requiza, during a ceremonial signing held on July 30, 2026 at Camp Captain Salvador Juacian Del Rosario Sr, Brgy Sta Cruz, Ligao City.

Under the partnership, Albay PPO and Ligao Running Team Inc. will jointly sponsor two meaningful activities aimed at promoting health, environmental stewardship, and community involvement: Takbo Para sa Kalusugan on September 26, 2026, and Takbo Para sa Kalikasan on December 5, 2026.

These initiatives underscore the shared commitment of both organizations to community engagement, physical fitness, and public safety through joint activities and programs that encourage active participation among police personnel and members of the community.

In his message, PCOL NUÑEZ emphasized the importance of building strong partnerships with civic organizations to foster a culture of health, discipline, and cooperation. He noted that the collaboration reflects Albay PPO’s commitment to community-oriented policing by working hand in hand with stakeholders in promoting the well-being of the public.

Likewise, Atty. Requiza expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to partner with Albay PPO, reaffirming Ligao Running Team Inc.’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote wellness, camaraderie, and community development.
The MOA signing marks the beginning of a meaningful partnership anchored on Serbiyong NOEL with shared goals of service, unity, and excellence, further strengthening the relationship between the Albay Kasurog Cops and the communities it serves.

The road is set, the challenge awaits and every stride carries a greater purpose.

On November 14, 2026, take on the ultimate 60-kilometer ultra-marathon and experience the breathtaking landscapes of Albay while pushing your limits in a race that goes beyond the finish line.

CUT-OFF TIME: 15hrs

SOLO CATEGORY runners will receive a race bib with RFID, singlet, finisher shirt, post-race meal, medal and a trophy.

Each runner for 2-MAN RELAY CATEGORY will receive a race bib with RFID, singlet, finisher shirt, post-race meal and a medal.

More than a race, RUM5 is a movement of hope. Proceeds from this event will support the aftercare and reintegration programs for former Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
