Congratulations to Anneli Sophia Manzanillo of the University of Santo Tomas for being named the Best Middle Blocker of the 2026 Shakey's Super League Juniors Division! ๐๐๐ค
What a journeyโand what an inspiration.
Last April, Anneli showcased her talent during the Dap-Ayan Volleyball Exhibition Match, where the Northwind Benders faced the powerhouse Bacolod Tay Tung Thunders. Even then, her presence at the net, composure under pressure, and exceptional potential were impossible to miss.
That experience became one of the many stepping stones in her growth. Sharing the court with one of the country's elite junior programs gave her the opportunity to gauge her level, embrace the challenge, and continue striving for excellence.
Today, she proudly wears the colors of the University of Santo Tomas, and now stands among the nation's finest as the Best Middle Blocker of the Shakey's Super League Juniors Division.
We are honored that the Dap-Ayan Volleyball Exhibition Match became part of her journey. Watching homegrown athletes rise to the national stage is exactly what inspires us to keep creating opportunities for young talents to compete, grow, and believe that bigger dreams are within reach.
