Another productive Saturday at MJ’s Chess Club!

Our players continued their preparations for the upcoming Municipal Meet and Pavia Chess Tournament through Round Robin and Blitz games. These training formats helped improve their opening preparation, tactical awareness, time management, and decision-making under pressure.

Every game played was an opportunity to learn, gain experience, and build confidence for the tournaments ahead. We are proud of our players for their dedication, discipline, and eagerness to improve.

Another memorable tournament experience for MJ’s Chess Club!

Our players proudly represented the club at the Passi City Battle of the Brains Chess Tournament, competing with determination, discipline, and sportsmanship. Every game was an opportunity to learn, gain valuable experience, and grow stronger as chess players.

Win or lose, we are incredibly proud of every participant for giving their best, showing resilience, and representing MJ’s Chess Club with honor. Success in chess is built through continuous learning, hard work, and the courage to compete.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents and guardians for your unwavering support, trust, and encouragement throughout the tournament. Your presence and support played a huge role in making this journey possible for our young players.

In preparation for the Passi City Battle of the Brains Chess Tournament this Saturday, July 11, our young players dedicated their weekend to training and improving their skills.

Throughout Saturday and Sunday, they worked on puzzle-solving, tactical exercises, practice games, and friendly competition to build confidence and sharpen their decision-making on the board. Every session was another step toward becoming tournament-ready.

Our Summer Clinic has officially come to an end, and what an amazing journey it has been!

Over the past weeks, our players participated in lessons, puzzle-solving activities, sparring sessions, lectures, and friendly competitions that helped develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game of chess. We also had the privilege of learning from Coach Yhubs, whose valuable insights and experience inspired our young players to continue improving.

To all our participants, thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the clinic. Your hard work and passion made every session meaningful and enjoyable.

Another productive 2 days of learning, training, puzzle-solving, and exciting games at MJ’s Chess Club. Every session is another step forward as our players continue to improve their skills, build confidence, and deepen their understanding of the game.

It was also great to put our new demo board to use during our discussions and lessons, helping our players visualize positions and learn more effectively.
