🌟Day 3 | February 24, 2026 | The Municipal Technical Action Committee (MTAC) of Los Baños has officially charted the way forward. 🌟

🗺️On the final day of the MTAC Training on BIDANI, the team developed a concrete road map for operationalizing BIDANI as a nutrition-in-development strategy in the municipality—strengthening coordination among the DILG Laguna, Municipal Government of Los Baños, Laguna, UPLB BIDANI Network Program, and the UPLB College of Human Ecology. 💚

The MTAC plays a critical role in BIDANI implementation. The committee serves as the local technical counterpart in organizing, guiding, and sustaining the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of barangay integrated development plans.Its leadership ensures that nutrition is not treated as a stand-alone program, but as a shared development responsibility embedded across sectors.

This milestone would not have been possible without the strong institutional support of:
• Mr. Jay T. Beltran CESE, Provincial Director, DILG Laguna
• Hon. Neil Andrew N. Nocon, Mayor of the Municipality of Los Baños
• Ms. Madeleine M. Alforja, RND, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer

With leadership, technical guidance, and inter-agency collaboration aligned, Los Baños is taking deliberate steps toward institutionalizing BIDANI—grounded in data, anchored in policy, and driven by shared accountability.

From mobilization to analysis to action planning, the MTAC now moves forward with a clear direction: stronger systems, harmonized plans, and healthier barangays.
