Kapalong National High School proudly celebrates the 17th birthday of Te Jay Baliog, one of its promising young basketball players and a proud member of the Kapalong NHS Men’s Basketball .

At 17, Te Jay continues to show that basketball is more than just a game—it is a journey of discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and determination. Wearing the KNHS’s jersey, he represents the fighting spirit of a young athlete who continues to learn, improve, and give his best every time he steps onto the court.

Beyond the cheers, points, and victories, his journey as a student-athlete is also about balancing academics, training, friendships, and the responsibilities that come with representing his school. Every practice builds not only his skills as a basketball player but also his character as a young man.

As Te Jay enters another year of his life, may he continue to chase his dreams with the same passion he brings to the basketball court. May every challenge make him stronger, every game teach him something new, and every victory remind him of the hard work behind it.

𝙏𝘼𝙂𝙐𝙈, 𝘿𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙊 𝘿𝙀𝙇 𝙉𝙊𝙍𝙏𝙀 — Nagpakitang-gilas ang 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 (𝙆𝙉𝙃𝙎) 𝙈𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 matapos nitong tambakan ang 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡, 75–26, sa pagbubukas ng JS Cup Tournament Season 25 noong Oktubre 3, 2026.

Mula sa unang bahagi ng laro, agad na ipinakita ng KNHS ang kanilang matibay na depensa, mabilis na opensa, at mahusay na pagtutulungan. Hindi binigyan ng malaking pagkakataon ng Kapalong ang Carmen na makabawi habang patuloy nitong pinapalawak ang kalamangan hanggang sa huling buzzer.

Sa pagtatapos ng laro, umabot sa 49 puntos ang lamang ng KNHS, patunay ng kanilang dominasyon sa kanilang unang laban sa torneo.

Dahil sa matagumpay na pagbubukas, dala ng KNHS Men’s Basketball Team ang mataas na kumpiyansa at momentum para sa mga susunod nitong laban sa JS Cup Season 25.

TAGUM CITY, DAVAO REGION — Myka Jurada of Kapalong National High School, emerged as the 𝙈𝙨. 𝙅𝙎 𝘾𝙪𝙥 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙚 2026 during the JS Cup Opening held at the JS Gaisano Court in Tagum City, capturing the crown against 16 talented ladies from across the Davao Region.

Jurada impressed the judges and the audience with her confidence, elegance, and stage presence throughout the competition. Her performance earned her not only the coveted crown but also three special awards: Best in Runway, Darling of the Crowd, and Miss Charm and Confidence.

Representing Kapalong, Jurada’s victory highlighted her grace, poise, and ability to connect with the crowd while showcasing the beauty and talent of her hometown.

Her remarkable performance and collection of awards made her triumph a memorable moment for Kapalong National High School and its supporters, as she brought home the Ms. JS Cup Muse 2026 title from a competitive field of 17 candidates representing different areas across the Davao Region.

𝙆𝘼𝙋𝘼𝙇𝙊𝙉𝙂, 𝘿𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙊 𝘿𝙀𝙇 𝙉𝙊𝙍𝙏𝙀 — Kapalong National High School (𝙆𝙉𝙃𝙎) secured a decisive 71–59 victory over Kauswagan National High School, earning a spot in the championship match of the basketball league held as part of the 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙂𝙪𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙣 celebration.

𝙆𝙉𝙃𝙎 displayed solid teamwork, composure, and determination throughout the game, maintaining control on both ends of the court. Despite Kauswagan National High School’s strong effort, Kapalong pulled away with timely baskets and consistent defensive plays.

With the victory, 𝙆𝙉𝙃𝙎 moves one step closer to the championship title, carrying the pride of Kapalong National High School into the much-anticipated final match.
