CHAMPIONS! GOLD MEDALISTS! 🥇

Congratulations to Rod Carl, and Khaizer of Sultan Kudarat Pickleball Club (SKPC) for bringing home the GOLD MEDAL at the 79th Araw ng Parang Pickleball Tournament!

Out of 16 strong teams, they battled through the competition and emerged as CHAMPIONS!

A huge achievement and another proud moment for SKPC!

FROM LAST-MINUTE REGISTRATION TO CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD

Six players. One last-minute decision. Eighteen teams. And a championship that nobody saw coming.

With only six players joining at the very last minute, this club team entered the competition with little time to prepare—but with plenty of heart, determination, and belief.

18 competing teams, they fought their way through the bracket and secured a spot as the #2 team in their bracket.

But the real test came in the semifinals.

Facing the #1-ranked team from the bracket, they refused to back down. Match after match, point after point, they battled their way through and pulled off a statement victory—defeating the top team and earning their place in the championship.

Then came the final.

With the title on the line, the six players delivered when it mattered most. Through pressure, fatigue, and intense competition, they completed the run and claimed the GOLD.

What started as a last-minute registration became a championship story.

From #2 in the bracket… to defeating #1… to becoming CHAMPIONS.

This wasn’t just a victory.

It was a reminder that sometimes, the teams with the least time to prepare can have the most to prove.

Six players. Eighteen teams. One championship.

THEY CAME LATE.
THEY FOUGHT HARD.
THEY FINISHED ON TOP.

There are moments that remind us why we started, and this tournament was one of them.

To every player who trusted us and gave their all on the court, thank you for bringing your passion, determination, and sportsmanship. Every rally, every handshake, and every smile made this tournament truly unforgettable.

To our sponsors, partners, merchants, and supporters, your generosity and belief in our vision made this event possible. Your support went far beyond the tournament—it strengthened our growing pickleball community.

To our officials, referees, volunteers, committee members, and every person who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, thank you for your countless hours, sleepless nights, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment. While many only saw the games, you carried the responsibility of making everything happen. This success belongs to you as much as anyone else.

To every spectator, family member, and friend who cheered from the sidelines, thank you for filling the venue with energy and encouragement. Your presence inspired every player to give their best.

Organizing this tournament was never easy. There were challenges, uncertainties, limited resources, and moments when we questioned whether everything would come together. But because of the people who believed, helped, and stood beside us, we turned those challenges into memories we will always cherish.

This tournament may have come to an end, but what we built together is only the beginning. We will continue to learn, grow, and raise the standard with every event we organize. We may not have been perfect, but we promise to keep improving and to deliver an even better experience in the years to come.

From all of us at the Sultan Kudarat Pickleball Club, thank you for making Sultans Cup 2026 more than just a tournament. You made it a celebration of community, friendship, resilience, and our shared love for pickleball.

Good day, everyone!

Please be advised of the official game sequence for tomorrow’s matches.

The Intermediate Women’s Doubles and Intermediate Mixed Doubles categories have been dissolved. As a result, the tournament will follow a progressive schedule, with matches proceeding continuously based on the completion of the preceding games.

We kindly ask all players to stay alert and be ready for their upcoming matches as the schedule may advance sooner than expected.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
All matches will follow a PROGRESSIVE SCHEDULE. The posted match times are approximate and may begin earlier or later depending on the completion of preceding matches.

✅ Arrive at the venue at least ONE (1) HOUR before your scheduled match.

✅ Stay alert and listen for official match announcements.

✅ Be ready at all times—failure to report when called may result in penalties or forfeiture in accordance with tournament rules.
