ICAPS Reigns Supreme in Secondary Swimming at Palarong Panlungsod 2025
The Palarong Panlungsod 2025 Swimming competition for Secondary concluded with Team ICAPS making a stunning splash, emerging as the overall champions in both the boys' and girls' divisions.
In the boys' division, Team ICAPS delivered an awe-inspiring performance, sweeping the competition with an impressive total of 26 medalsโ16 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze. Team Central followed closely, securing 32 medals with 6 gold, 14 silver, and 12 bronze. Meanwhile, Team South showcased a modest performance, taking home 2 bronze medals.
The girlsโ division saw ICAPS once again dominating the pool, capturing 12 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze for a total of 24 medals. Team Central kept the competition intense, collecting 8 gold, 9 silver, and 8 bronze, making their medal count 25. Team South secured 1 gold and 1 bronze, ending with 2 medals overall.
The coveted Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors were awarded to two outstanding swimmers from ICAPS. Hezekiah Nagrampa claimed the MVP title in the boysโ category, while Pauline Zholeyka Hernandez took home the MVP award for the girlsโ division, both recognized for their stellar performances.
With their overwhelming medal haul, Team ICAPS claimed the championship title in Secondary Swimming, showcasing their swimming prowess. Team Central followed as 1st Runner-Up, and Team South placed as 2nd Runner-Up.
ICAPS' resounding success cements their position as a powerhouse in swimming, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting Palarong Bicol 2025.
