Before You Blame the Ref, Ask Yourself: Do You Really Know the Rule?

Sometimes, we get so sure that the referee is wrong just because we saw one angle or heard someone shout, “Bad call!”

But knowing the game is different from knowing the rules.

Before we judge, maybe we should pause, learn, and understand first.

A REFEREE WHO NEVER LISTENS EVENTUALLY STOPS LEARNING. 🏀🖤

The whistle doesn’t make you right.
Knowing the rules doesn’t make you infallible.
And wearing the uniform doesn’t mean you stop listening.

Some referees don’t officiate the game anymore—
they officiate their own version of it.

Players speak. Coaches explain.
Even your fellow officials may see something you missed.

But if your answer is always, “I KNOW.”
Maybe the problem isn’t the game.

Maybe you’ve stopped listening.

Because the moment a referee thinks he can never be wrong,
that’s the moment the whistle becomes an ego—not a tool for the game.

Your job is to control your team—
