The ILOILO DRAGONS Dragon Boat Club Inc. is composed of members coming from diverse dragon boat and mountaineering backgrounds since 1996. It is envisioned to be the core and foundation of responsible members that will promote the fun behind the sport; encourage the importance of fitness and health; uphold environmental conservation; and strengthen fellowship and camaraderie among groups and individuals.
AFTER A VERY LONG HIATUS, ILOILO DRAGONS is formally registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission in December of 2023. The Club has been a member of the Philippine Paddling Federation Inc. or PPFI, (formerly Philippine Canoe Kayak Dragonboat Federation, Inc.).
And to date, though our strokes are new and our roots are young, we carry the unyielding fire of youth and a fierce, beating passion for the dragon boat.
Afterall, Dragon Boat sport is not just about races, it is not just about competition, it is about the FUN, FITNESS and FELLOWSHIP among groups and individuals.
