𝗗𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 || 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀? 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀.

Every Sunday, she went to the same church.

To everyone else, she looked like an ordinary student in her school uniform.

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦,
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘭𝘺𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘺, "𝘐'𝘮 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦."

But they didn't know the battles she fought every day, they didn't know about the nights she cried herself to sleep. They didn't know about the loneliness she carried, the fears she hid, or the expectations she was afraid would never come true.

That Sunday,
she knelt and bowed her head.

No extravagant prayers.
No perfect words.
Just tears.

In her mind, she whispered, “God, I’m tired.”

The church was quiet.

“Everything feels so heavy. I don't know what to do anymore.”

She wiped her eyes.

For a moment, she sat in silence, staring at the altar as if lost in a distant thought.

Then rays of sunlight streamed through the church windows, gently illuminating her face. Slowly, she lifted her head.

“God… are You listening?” she whispered.

A soft breeze brushed past her, lifting her hair as if in response.

And then, a memory surfaced—her favorite Bible verse.

“𝘚𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶;
𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥.
𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘺𝘰𝘶;
𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥.”
—𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝟰𝟭:𝟭𝟬

Her lips trembled as she repeated the words softly.

Then her tears fell again, but this time, they were different.

Because she realized:

He already knew.

𝘏𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.
𝘏𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳.
𝘏𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘥.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱.

Her life wasn't perfect.
Her problems weren't suddenly solved.

But her heart felt lighter.

Even though nobody else knew what she was going through,

𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄.

The ICA Youth Choir (IYC), under the guidance of their adviser and conductor, Sir Denmark Turda, was invited to perform during the 128th Independence Day Celebration held at Batac City Hall on June 12, 2026.

The gathering brought together local officials and residents to mark the nation’s freedom. The choir led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem with great respect and pride, and also performed the well-loved Ilocano song “Pamulinawen”, adding a touch of local culture and harmony to the program including the “Dakilang Lahi” sang by Nezaiah Bayan a grade 8 student. Their heartfelt performance were warmly appreciated by everyone present.

This opportunity allowed the members to share their gift of music while contributing to a significant community event. It was a wonderful experience that highlighted the choir’s commitment to serving and representing the school with excellence.

As we commemorate the sacrifices of our heroes, we also recognize the value of an empowered nation. Freedom flourishes when truth is spoken, voices are heard, and Filipinos remain engaged in shaping our future.

We commend the ancestral home of the first Philippine President, Emilio Aguinaldo, where Philippine Independence from Spain was officially proclaimed on June 12, 1898.

Today, we honor our history, reaffirm our commitment, and celebrate our independence.

Isang bandila, isang bayan, isang layunin, at milyong pangarap.

Batac City, June 11, 2026 – Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA) held its first Holy Mass for School Year 2026–2027 at the Immaculate Conception Parish earlier today, gathering the entire school community in prayer and gratitude.

The service was a meaningful start, bringing faith and unity to begin the school year. Even when the electricity went out, the mass still continued smoothly, and everyone joined respectfully and wholeheartedly. It was a beautiful reminder that devotion and togetherness define the spirit of the ICA community.

During the Prayer of the Faithful, the ICA community also remembered and offered prayers for our schoolmate, Zhenandoah Emmanuel P. Dela Cuesta, who sadly passed away a few days ago. The mass concluded with a blessing for all students, teachers, and staff, asking for guidance and grace throughout the school year. This gathering gave all ICAdemians a positive and inspiring start to their journey ahead.
