🚀 Getting Started: The Complete Guide to PickleScorer

Ready to get your official rating? Here is everything you need to know from setting up your profile to logging your first ranked match! 👇

PART 1: SETTING UP YOUR PROFILE 👤
Before you can play, we need to verify your identity to prevent duplicate accounts.

1️⃣ Click "SETUP NOW" When you first log in, you will see a big yellow banner on your dashboard. You won't be able to log matches until you clear this. Click the Setup Now button to start.

2️⃣ Enter Your Details Fill in your Name, Birthdate, and City. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Use your real name! These fields will be LOCKED after saving to prevent "smurfing" and cheating.

3️⃣ Create Your Secret Game PIN 🔐 Create a 6-digit Game PIN.
You will need this PIN to join matches and validate scores.
Keep it private! This is your digital signature.

PART 2: STARTING A MATCH ⚔️
Now for the fun part. We use a secure PIN system to ensure every match is real.

4️⃣ Create the Lobby From your Dashboard, click the big yellow + CREATE MATCH button.

5️⃣ Choose Format & Opponent
Select Singles or Doubles and set the score limit (e.g., Play to 11).
Type your opponent’s name in the search bar to find them.

6️⃣ The "Handshake" (PIN Verification) 🤝 To prevent fake matches, your opponent must enter THEIR 6-digit PIN on YOUR device.

Once entered, you’ll see a green VERIFIED badge next to their name.

Click CREATE MATCH and the status will change to "MATCH IN PROGRESS".

PART 3: LOGGING THE SCORE 🏆
Game over? Time to make it count!

7️⃣ Enter the Score Click the white ENTER SCORE button. Type in the final result (e.g., 11 - 9).

8️⃣ Final Verification ✍️ Just like before, your opponent enters their PIN one last time to sign off on the score. This ensures nobody can change the score behind your back!

Look for the green "Verified by [Opponent]" checkmark.

9️⃣ Instant Updates! 🚀 Click CONFIRM, and you are done! Your Singles/Doubles Record and your Placement Progress will update immediately on your dashboard.
