The Boys will be ready

This December, we’re bringing back Hukad Una Sikad 2 — a movement rooted in the heart of Dumaguete (the City of Gentle People) to turn Christmas kindness into real, tangible care.

This is our way of honoring the spirit of the season: no fanfare, just intentional giving. We’ll be sharing free, warm meals with our homeless neighbors and street hustlers — the people who show up for our city every day, often without the same access to the comfort of the holidays. For us, "Hukad Una Sikad" means "Give First, Then Step Forward": we start by seeing everyone in our community, then act to wrap them in the warmth of shared food, connection, and love.

This isn’t just an event — it’s a promise to live the "gentle" spirit our city is known for. Every meal is a reminder that no one is alone this Christmas, and that small, kind acts can stitch our community closer together.

Join us on December 20, 2025. Anyone can volunteer and be part of the movement. Cooking starts at 8:00 AM at Kuys Bagsit’s place, then we roll out and move together at 1:00 PM.
