The Boy Scouts of the Philippines is pleased to announce the conduct of 14th National Rover Moot on 22-26 July 2024 at Camp Irosin, Municipality of Irosin, Province of Sorsogon with the theme “Sustaining Growth”.

The 14th National Rover Moot aims to provide safe, exciting, challenging and meaningful learning opportunities and educational activities geared towards responsible leadership, community development, environment and natural resources protection and preservation and build lasting friendship among the Rovers of open-air and service.

The Rover Circle No. 1 - Order of Luna received a Community Service Award during the 41st Annual Council Meeting on April 6, 2024, held at Digos City National High School. The award was given in recognition of the group's outstanding commitment and dedication to their latest project. Their unwavering determination and hard work are truly commendable.

The BSP- Davao del Sur Council- Rover Circle No. 1 successfully completed day 4 of their gardening project, nurturing our green quadrant to life.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Sir Peter Shane Liño, Brgy. Zone 3 Kagawad, Ma’am Stephanie Ponteras, and Sir John Ponteras, Agriculturists, for their invaluable support and guidance throughout this endeavor. Special thanks also go to our Circle Manager and the dedicated Rovers who have contributed their time and effort to ensure the success of our project.

As part of our incessant commitment to help save the planet Earth, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines is pleased to announce our continuous participation to the 2024 Earth Hour Celebration. ⚜️🌎

We encourage all Scouting Units, Sponsoring Institutions, District Scouting Committees, Regional Offices, Local Councils, and National Office staff and employees to participate by switching off the lights for one hour (60 minutes) on March 23, 2024, around 8:30 to 9:30 PM local time, this can make a substantial difference in energy consumption and can help reduce the effect of global warming on this planet.

The BSP- Davao del Sur Council- Rover Circle No. 1 has completed its 100 hours of service in their yellow quadrant, and the spotlight is on our triumphant “Scouts Park” project.

We would like to thank Dr. Mercy Fe M. Mopal Principal of Sulop NHS, Sir Arec Cabrarijan, Sir Dexter Lausa, Sir Alemar Plando, Ma’am Corazon Magallanes, Ma’am Marie Joy Abayon, Sir Jardy Fuentes our Circle Manager, for making this project possible.

The success of this project not only enhances green spaces but also fosters enduring community connections. Ready for the next phase of impact!
