π’ππŽπ‘π“π’ | CJC Red Lions Prevails Over HCDC Cross Blazers, 13-7; Claims Men's 3x3 Gold Medal

CJC Red Lions secures the gold medal victory in the Men's 3x3 Basketball tournament after they outlast the defending champions, the Holy Cross of Davao College Cross Blazers, in their epic showdown during the DACS Season 62 College Sportsfest, 13-7 at Holy Cross of Davao College Gymnasium.

The Red Lions show their sharp ball movement, along with their strong defensive steps, as the Red Lions control the rhythm throughout the game, showing the signs of determination to place on the top of the podium, improving from their last season's bronze medal finish.

The members of the 3x3 Men's Basketball team are Pocholo CabataΓ±a, Nell Roi Rodillas, Steaven Abadies, and Asterio Casilagan Jr., along with their coach, Mr. Hector A. Cuico II.

Their gold medal finish books their ticket to the CEAP Mindanao Games 2026 at Zamboanga City.

π’ππŽπ‘π“π’ | CJC Red Lions WVT Secures Semi-Final Slot vs. SPCT; Facing ADDU in the Semis

CJC Red Lions Women's Volleyball Team continues their DACS Campaign as they are headed to the Semi-Finals of Women's Volleyball of DACS Season 62 after their decisive sweep against Saint Peter's College of Toril in the quarterfinals with two straight sets, 2-0 (25-15, 25-10), last Wednesday.

With their precise bomb-like attacks along with their jolting monster blocks and strong teamwork on the court, they easily controlled the rhythm of the entire game, securing their spot in the Semi-Finals.

After sweeping the SPCT, the Red Lions will have a rematch against the defending champions, the ADDU Blue Knights. Notably, both teams have already faced each other in last season's finals where they succumbed to ADDU in a heartbreaking close matchβ€”costing the Women's team a silver finish.

Their rematch against ADDU will take place in Saint Peter's College of Toril gymnasium on Friday, 9 am.

π’ππŽπ‘π“π’ | DACS'62: CJC MVT Advances to the Finals, Crushing ADDU MVT 3-0

Their quest for another title defense continues as the CJC Red Lions Men's Volleyball Team booked their way to the Championship Match. CJC Red Lions dominates Ateneo De Davao University (ADDU) Blue Knights during the semi-finals of the Men's Volleyball of DACS Season 62 in their decisive one-sided match, 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-20), this morning at Brokenshire Hotel Resort & Convention Center.

During the opening set, despite being pushed back by the ADDU's smart game in the early minutes of the set, the Red Lions manage to shift their momentum with their thunderous attacks courtesy of their team captain, Angela Gayud and MJ Saavedra, along with Xyrielle Bueno's crunching block, getting their first set point of the match.

CJC Red Lions continues their domination till the third set, contributing their ferocious gameplay coming from Owen Tolentino's timing set to create their perfect combo attacks for Gayud, Bueno, and Saavedra to break the ADDU's momentum, earning their ticket to the Finals.

The Red Lions will return to action once again for the championship match later at 2 pm.
