🕊️ In Loving Memory of Mr. Dominico P. Tan Jr. 🕊️

With deep sorrow, the school community joins in mourning the passing of Mr. Dominico P. Tan Jr., a dedicated educator whose life was marked by commitment, service, and compassion.

As a symbol of respect and remembrance, our school flag is flown at half-mast in honor of his valuable contributions to education and the many lives he touched throughout his career.

We at DepEd RXII Doña Concordia B. Jayme CES extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his beloved wife, Ms. Elaine E. Tan, their family, relatives, friends, colleagues, and the entire school community during this time of loss. May they find strength, comfort, and peace in the memories they shared with him.

📢 Building Inspection and Safety Assessment

Following the earthquake that occurred yesterday, our school underwent a thorough building inspection and safety assessment conducted by the Municipal Engineering Office and DRRMO of President Roxas, headed by Engr. Marivic Monserate.

The inspection aimed to assess the structural condition of school buildings and ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and personnel. We are grateful to the Municipal Engineering Office and DRRMO for their prompt response, technical expertise, and commitment to safeguarding our school community.

The safety and well-being of everyone remain our top priority. We will continue to coordinate with the concerned agencies and follow their recommendations to ensure a safe learning environment for all.

📢 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2026–2027 📢

Despite the earthquake experienced today, the first day of classes at Doña Concordia B. Jayme Central Elementary School successfully pushed through with the safety and well-being of our learners and personnel as the top priority.

We were honored by the visit of our PSDS, Dr. Jemz B. Evangelio, who monitored the situation and showed support to our SNED, Kindergarten, Grades 1–6, and ALS learners, as well as our dedicated teachers.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Ma’am Rosemarie Poblador for her quick response and assistance to one of our learners who experienced discomfort during the incident and is now in good condition.

Likewise, thank you to the President Roxas Police headed by Maam Marañon for their immediate visit and early “kamustahan” following the earthquake, helping ensure the safety and security of our school community.

This day’s events reminded us of the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and community support. Together, we remain committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all.

Day 4 of Brigada Eskwela was another successful day of teamwork and service at Doña Concordia B. Jayme Central Elementary School.

Parents, volunteers, teachers, and stakeholders continued cleaning, repairing, and improving our school facilities in preparation for the opening of classes.

Another productive day of unity, teamwork, and volunteerism at Doña Concordia B. Jayme Central Elementary School as we continue our Brigada Eskwela 2026 activities!

Teachers, parents, stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners once again joined hands in cleaning classrooms, repairing school facilities, arranging learning spaces, and beautifying the school surroundings to ensure a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for our dear learners.
Your time, effort, and generosity truly show the spirit of “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan.” Thank you to everyone who continuously supports our school through donations, voluntary work, and active participation.
