1st CURV V-League Concludes with Team Delulu Spikers Crowned Champions
The CURV V-League 2026, in coordination with the SK Officials of Barangay Cadcadir West, successfully concluded its five-day volleyball tournament held from May 6 to 10, 2026, at the Barangay Cadcadir West Multi-Purpose Hall. The league featured four competing teams in a preliminary round robin format followed by the semifinals and a thrilling championship series.
After an intense Best-of-3 Finals showdown, Team Delulu Spikers emerged as the champions after defeating Team Mashikif with a 2β1 series victory. Team PitiPew Pew Wiw Wiw and Team Makder secured the 2nd Runner-up honors following their competitive performances throughout the tournament.
The tournament also recognized outstanding individual athletes who showcased exceptional talent and consistency on the court. Named as Best Players after the Preliminary Round were Eric Tagalicud, Franz Karl Balanay, Justine Llamelo, and Kenedy Britz Bidey.

Meanwhile, the Finals Most Valuable Player award was proudly earned by Eric S. Tagalicud of Team Delulu Spikers after delivering an outstanding all-around performance in the championship match. He finished with 21 points built from 18 attacks and 3 service aces, alongside 4 excellent receptions and 5 excellent digs.
