A Farewell, A Thank You
Through every match, every drop of sweat from the hardest training, and every challenge we faced as a teamโthereโs one person weโll never forget. Not just a captain, but an inspiration, a brother, and the solid rock that held us together.
For more than a year, we saw how you foughtโnot just for your own dreams, but for all of ours. You werenโt just an athlete; you were a true warrior. Not just in Arnis, but in life. With every strike of your stick and every step into the spotlight, you carried our teamโs name, our schoolโs pride, and a heart that refused to give up.
We all know your journey wasnโt easy. You went through pain, sacrifice, and challenges that didnโt always promise a clear outcome. But instead of giving in, you faced it all head-onโstronger, wiser, and even more determined to lead us. You never backed down from fear or doubt. Instead, you showed us that true success isnโt measured by medals, but by the strength of character shaped by every battle.
Captain, if thereโs one thing we can leave you with, itโs this: Respect those who came before you, even if they didnโt respect you. You donโt need to lower yourself just to prove your worth. True respect comes from how you carry yourself, even when no oneโs watching. In the end, itโs not the strongest who wins, but the one who stands with honor and integrity.
Now, as you step into a new chapter of your life, know this isnโt goodbye. Itโs just the beginning of something even bigger. Before you officially leave our team, we just want to say thank you. Thank you for every rallying cry of โLaban!โ during competitions, for the advice that lifted us, and for being there when we felt like giving up. Thank you for being our brother, our teammate, and our biggest source of strength.
