OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Sugbo League was founded with a clear vision—to establish Cebu Province's premier basketball league and create a sustainable platform where homegrown talent can compete, grow, and be recognized.

This league was not built overnight. For years, the founders have carefully studied, planned, and developed the concept of Sugbo League with one goal in mind: to elevate the standard of basketball across Cebu Province while providing opportunities for athletes from every municipality and city.

As we officially introduce Sugbo League, we wish to make our position clear:

Sugbo League is a private and independent institution.We are non-partisan and do not support, represent, or endorse any political party, political organization, or political candidate.Our mission is centered solely on the advancement of basketball and the development of Cebuano athletes.

We welcome collaboration with every local government unit, community, organization, and stakeholder who shares our commitment to sports development. Our partnerships are built on a common vision of empowering athletes and strengthening basketball in Cebu—not on political affiliations.

Sugbo League is committed to providing a competitive and professionally organized league that is open to basketball talents from across Cebu Province, giving deserving players a platform to showcase their skills and represent their hometowns with pride.

We firmly believe that Cebu is more than ready for a province-wide premier basketball league that upholds excellence, integrity, sportsmanship, and community spirit. More importantly, we envision Sugbo League as a long-term and sustainable platform that will continue to discover, develop, and elevate Cebu's basketball talent for generations to come.

CALL FOR MERCHANDISE PARTNERS – DEADLINE EXTENDED!

First of all, thank you to all the companies and suppliers who have already submitted their proposals to become the Official Merchandise Production Partner of Sugbo League. We truly appreciate your interest in being part of our inaugural season.

Due to the requests we've received, we are extending the submission deadline until August 5, 2026 for interested companies who have not yet submitted their proposals.

This is your final opportunity to partner with Cebu's premier semi-professional inter-town basketball league and produce official merchandise for all 16 Sugbo League teams.

Ready to represent Catmon with pride, Keenan Lim enters the inaugural Sugbo League as one of the team's reliable offensive weapons.

Standing at 6'2", Keenan is a versatile forward known for his scoring ability, high basketball IQ, and all-around game. Whether it's knocking down shots from the perimeter, attacking the basket, creating opportunities for teammates, or making timely defensive stops, he's the type of player who impacts the game on both ends of the floor.

"Scoring has always been one of my strengths, but I also take pride in helping the team through rebounding, defense, and making the right basketball plays. Once I find my rhythm, I know I can make a big impact."

A fearless competitor, Keenan embraces every challenge and stays ready for the biggest moments. His ability to read the game, adjust quickly, and make smart decisions makes him a valuable piece of Team Catmon this season.

Representing his hometown is something he takes to heart.
