Brotherhood's founder Master Jose "Joe" Borces was promoted to the rank of Grand Master (9th dan black belt) by Supreme Grand Master himself Dionisio "Diony" Canete (ODL) at the Doce Pares International Head Quarters in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City, Philippines.

The Brotherhood's first practice in Barangay San Jose Sports Complex since the departure of Grand Master Jose "Joe" Borces to California was over 2 years ago. Now, he is back in the Philippines and has been progressively rebuilding the team, bacause during his absence, the oranization have crumbled and disbanded. Today, he has put all his time and effort in setting the grounds for the Brotherhood's long-tem prosperity and development.
