This journey will take you around the rolling hills of Cebu City highlands that have been witness to stories of victory, endurance, friendships, camaraderie, adventures, and pushing limits beyond what you have pushed before.

Join us, the Cebu Mountain Goats and APEX Race, in partnership with the City of Cebu and Barangay Pamutan, as we hold the 6th edition of Pamutan Trailfest -- a celebration of grit, strength, and endurance, a coming-together of those who strive for physical and mental toughness, while bringing awareness to environmental conservation and oneness with nature.

To all runners and visitors joining the trail event, we kindly ask everyone to respect the beliefs and culture of the locals in the area.

One of the residents approached us and shared a heartfelt request — please avoid taking photos with or of their vegetables/crops. According to their belief, taking pictures of the crops may make them “shy,” resulting in poor harvests and bad luck in farming.
This was also the first time the organizers learned about this local belief, and we fully respect and honor their request.

Whether or not we share the same belief, we hope we can all choose kindness and respect for the community that warmly welcomed us into their home and trails.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Let’s continue to practice responsible and respectful trail running. 🙏🌱
