To all fathers who make child support conditional on whether they get to see their child, this message is for you.

Whether you see your child or not, their needs do not stop. They still need food, education, healthcare, clothing, and everyday necessities. Those needs do not disappear simply because you have disagreements with the child's mother.

Child support is not payment for access to your child. It is a responsibility to your child.

If you genuinely want to be more involved in your child's life, communicate respectfully with the mother and, when necessary, use the proper legal process to establish your rights and parenting arrangements.

But don't make your child carry the weight of an adult disagreement.

Do not use child support as a bargaining chip. Do not make your child pay the price for conflict between adults.

Be present when you can. Provide what you can. And most importantly, put your child's welfare ahead of your pride.

Because being a parent isn't about getting something in return.

It's about showing up, providing support, and doing what is best for your child—even when things aren't easy. ❤️

Happy Birthday, Blessed Virgin Mary!

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Mary, our Blessed Mother, whose life of humility, faith, obedience, and unconditional love continues to inspire us.

May we learn from her “yes” to God—to trust His plans even when we cannot see the whole journey ahead.

Mama Mary, continue to guide us, protect our families, strengthen our faith, and lead us closer to your Son, Jesus. May your gentle presence remind us to live with compassion, humility, and love.

On your blessed birthday, we honor you with grateful hearts and ask for your loving intercession.

🌹 Why Buying Flowers as a Gift Isn't Always Practical

Flowers are beautiful, romantic, and thoughtful—but if we're talking about practical value, they aren't always the best way to spend your money.

1. They don't last very long.
You can spend ₱500, ₱1,000, or even more on a bouquet, but after a few days or weeks, the flowers wilt.

2. They're essentially a temporary gift.
Unlike something useful—a meal, a book, clothing, groceries, or something the person actually needs—flowers provide mostly sentimental value.

3. They eventually become waste.
The bouquet needs to be thrown away once it dries or starts to deteriorate. The picture says it all: something that was once a beautiful gift can eventually end up beside the trash.

4. You're paying for presentation.
Part of the price isn't just for the flowers. You're also paying for wrapping, ribbons, arrangement, delivery, and the florist's service.

5. There are longer-lasting ways to express the same affection.
Instead of spending ₱1,000 on flowers, you could give someone a nice dinner, a useful item, a personalized keepsake, or even simply spend quality time with them.

But here's the important part…

Flowers aren't necessarily a bad gift. They're just not a practical one.

Sometimes people don't give flowers because they expect them to last. They give them because the moment matters.

So perhaps the better question isn't:
> “Will this gift last?”

It's:
> “Will this person appreciate what I'm giving them?”

Because a flower may last only a week—but the feeling of receiving it can last much longer.

Practical gifts meet a need.
