What a day. What a run. What a team.
Yesterday our U14 squad came into the Limans Football Cup and meant business from the very start. They swept through their bracket, topped their group, and earned their place as the number one seed heading into the knockout stage. That alone already says everything about the level these boys showed up with.
In the semis, they went toe to toe with a stronger, more experienced side and gave absolutely everything they had on that pitch. They didn't go down without a fight, not even close. And finishing as 2nd Runner Up after the journey they had in this tournament? That's not a consolation. That's a statement.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of these boys. The grit, the composure, and the heart they showed throughout the entire competition is exactly what Baysharks FC is built on.
To the organizers of the Limans Football Cup, thank you for putting together a well run, competitive tournament that gave our young athletes a platform to grow and compete. We truly appreciate the opportunity.
To our coaches, thank you for the preparation, the patience, and the belief you pour into these kids every single session. Your work shows on days like this.
And to all our parents, your 101% support never goes unnoticed. From the early mornings to the long drives, the sideline cheers, and the constant encouragement you give your kids, you are just as much a part of this journey as anyone on that field. Thank you.
