"Many Filipinos are getting frustrated with the country. For you, why is it still worth it to represent the Philippines on the global stage?"
If I
were to answer the question, I would say:
Our country, the Philippines, is a nation of strength and beauty, shaped by a rich history of battling against powerful colonizers, a vibrant culture, and abundant natural resources. While we face social and political challenges, they do not define us. We are far more than our struggles.
On the global stage, the Philippines has consistently proven its excellence, especially in Miss Universe, where we have proudly earned four crowns. These victories reflect not only beauty, but intelligence, compassion, and the unwavering Filipino spirit.
As a Filipina, I stand with unwavering pride in a country that remains ever worthy of representation, a nation shaped by time, enriched by culture, and strengthened by its people.
And so, with confidence and honor, I say:
Miss Universe 2026 is… the Philippines. 🇵🇭
