Learning and Development Center - Maddatu Foundation The goal of the center is to improve computer and internet literacy in the community. PURPOSES/OBJECTIVES OF THE FOUNDATION

1.

To promote and advance computer and internet literacy among high school students in rural areas in the Philippines with pioneering projects in Enrile,
Cagayan.

2. To create, maintain and act as a non-profit foundation for granting
scholarships to the poor but deserving and qualified Filipino high school students in public or private secondary schools up to college level in the Philippines.

3.

To promote youth and sports development activities for the students during their free time thus making them active and not idle.

4. To provide and maintain a Learning Center and Library open to the public and for students in particular.

5.To conduct self help and motivational training programs to uplift poverty in the Philippines.

6. To solicit and provide computers and other training materials for students and citizens who are interested to learn in a locality.

7. To solicit and provide Internet connectivity in rural areas of the Philippines where there are no telecommunications companies.

8. To generate resources through donations and fund raising activities to be
used solely in financing the Foundation's various activities, projects and programs, subject to governmental regulations.

Notes :
Registration Guidelines
1. Registration forms should be completed in full
2. Alumni Members are assessed 250.00 each.
Family Members are exempt from the Registration Fee
3. Every Alumni Member should fill up the Form
4. Family members shall pay 50.00 each for inclusion
In the raffle.
Raffle Guidelines
1. Raffle will be conducted every hour on the hour.
2. Members with paid registration fees are included
3. Family members with paid raffle tickets are included
4. Prizes will be released during the Fellowship Night
5. Winners should personally claim the prizes.
Pledges Forms
1. All registered members are given the Pledge Forms
2. Individual or Batch may give the Pledge
3. Pledges should be in cash not in kind.
4. Submitted pledges must be signed.
Food and Drinks
1. Individual Members and family members shall bring
their own food. Pot luck for all.
2. Each Batch shall decide on their lunch and dinner
arrangement.
Tents, Tables and Chairs
1. Each batch shall set up their tent in the Campus on
Dec 27, 2015
TShirt Uniform per Batch
1. Each Batch will decide on the color and printing of
T Shirts for use on Dec. 28, 2015
2. Attire during the Alumni Fellowship Night will be
smart casual.

The LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER- MADDATU FOUNDATION is publishing quarterly the Newsletter of all Schools in Enrile, "THE ALUMNI TORCH" . This newsletter is under the care of the COUNCIL OF ADVISORS composed of all the Principals of all the High Schools in the community.

THE NEWSLETTER HOPES TO CONNECT ALL GRADUATES TO ONE ANOTHER AND TO THE COMMUNITY; INSPIRE TO GET EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE AFFAIRS OF THEIR ALMA MATER AND COMMUNITY ; and SHARE THEIR TIME AND RESOURCES FOR THE GOOD OF THE COMMUNITY.

Check the Newsletter, it had released three issues already with the active participation of all schools. Read the newsletter and contribute your articles.

Time to ponder on this subject seriously and let everyone do their part to stop the dynasties! They cause more harm then good to the country!

For the first time in recent history, the country’s Roman Catholic bishops have come out with a pastoral statement denouncing political dynasties, powerful and influential families in the government and vowing to support any popular initiative to pass a law that would put an end to them.

On week days OLOSA students are using the Training Room and this is now a regular exercise every week. Students from the Vocational Schools will also use the facility which is presently being discussed with the School Heads. Welcome to every one! Come and get to know all about computers.
