August 27, 2026 marks the 1st anniversary of CRC Cadiz Runners Club.

It all began with a simple running session in Cadiz City, invited and led by Ricky T. Samillano Jr. — who enthusiastically motivated his circle of friends to take up running, even creating a group chat to bring everyone together. He inspired non-runners to start moving, and what started as a small passion slowly grew into something bigger.

Ricky started joining fun runs, worked his way up, and eventually earned podium finishes. As more friends and like-minded people joined their growing community, they officially established CRC Cadiz Runners Club. Today, the club has built a wide network of friends and continues to inspire others to embrace running.

Our guiding motto always remains: "Level up to improve, not to impress."

Sometimes we spend too much time waiting for the “perfect time” to start.

Waiting for the weather to clear.
Waiting for life to settle down.
Waiting until things feel easier.

But running teaches us something different.

Not every day will be ideal. Some runs happen under the sun, some in the middle of the rain, and some in seasons of life that feel a little messy too. But somehow, that’s where the magic happens.

You learn to keep going.
You learn to adjust.
You learn to smile even when things don’t go as planned.

Because life isn’t really about waiting for hard moments to pass - it’s about learning how to move through them, find joy in them, and come out stronger on the other side.

So if it rains, maybe that’s not the sign to stop.
