As part of the 76th Adlaw Hong Butuan celebration, the 14th Balangay Football Festival brought together 90 passionate teams from across Mindanao to the Butuan City Polysports Complex! Over two action-packed days, athletes from Davao, Tagum, Surigao, Cagayan de Oro, and beyond showcased incredible discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship on the field, proving that football is truly more than just a game—it’s a powerful driver of unity and camaraderie.

In his message, Mayor Law Fortun emphasized that the festival reflects the true heart of Adlaw Hong Butuan by continually investing in our youth. By providing platforms like this for young athletes to compete, connect, and excel, Mayor Law Fortun is calling on us to support our youth as we build a stronger, healthier Butuan together!

Ang DOST-PAGASA nagpagawas og Heat Index nga 46°C alang sa Butuan City karong Adlawa, August 13, 2026 oras ala una sa hapon. Sa maong lebel, kini nagpasabot nga posible ma experience ang heat cramps, heat exhaustion, ug kung pasagdan, mahimo kining mosangpot sa heat stroke.

𝑴𝒈𝒂 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚 𝑻𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒅 𝒔𝒂 𝒔𝒐𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕:
💧 Inom og daghang tubig – Likayi ang dehydration. Ayaw paabot nga uhawon ka.
🧢 Magsul-ob og kalo o payong kung maglakaw sa gawas.
🌳 Pangita og landong o magpabilin sa lugar nga bugnaw.
👕 Magsul-ob og nipis ug hayag nga sinina .
🕐 Likayi ang pagpanglakaw sa pinakainit nga oras (alas 11 sa buntag hangtod alas 3 sa hapon).
🍲 Likayi ang sobrang tam-is, alkohol, ug caffeinated drinks–makapadugang sa dehydration.
👶👴 Bantayi ang mga bata, tigulang, ug buntis – sila ang pinakasensitibo sa kainit.

🆘 Kung makasinati og paglipong-lipong, pag-lisod og ginhawa, pangpamugnaw ug pagkakuyap, tawag sa CDRRMD OPERATION CENTER dayon para sa emergency intervention ug dali nga pag responde.
Mga Ka-ALIMAT! padayon ang pag update sa sitwasyon sa panahon, Og naa kamo namatikdan nga kailangan e-report bahin sa medical and emergency concerns, mahimung mutawag sa CDRRMD Opereation Center sa 0921-768-7287.
