I rode my bike for 52 km from Tenpaku, Nagoya, to Utsumi Beach, passing through the boundaries of several cities. The route included a few moderately steep hills, but the roads were fully paved with asphalt. The ride was quite challenging because of the scorching summer heat.

Japan is officially in the summer season. Cycling around is very rewarding, but it's important to take precautions and stay safe. Bring plenty of water or enough extra money to buy drinks from the roadside vending machines.

I almost suffered from muscle cramps, and I also had a scary experience when my navigation app directed me into a tunnel that crossed beneath the tollway. After making my way through the dark tunnel, I reached the other side only to discover that I was heading toward what looked like a jungle trail. That's when I realized the app had totally messed me up. 😂😂

After riding for about 300 meters (I guess), the app suddenly announced, "Your route is 50 meters ahead. Prepare to turn right." What a relief! Thank God for answering my prayer.

After so many days of couch surfing, cooking, mall hopping, and window shopping, I finally got back on my bike for a short ride around Japan.

This easy, relaxing loop took me through the boundaries of several Japanese cities, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Every ride offers a new perspective and a deeper appreciation of Japan's beauty and charm.

3-day bike tour through the boundaries of Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, and Olongapo.

On the first day, we covered roughly 155 km from our home to Talain Travellers Lodge in Mariveles (1,000 pesos for 12hrs). Madaming hinto, maraming pahinga. Both of us made some adjustments with our bike set-up, like adjusting the saddle to comfort the pwet 🤣🤣For some reason, my saddle tilted up and caused discomfort, kaya I adjusted it to be level, and it felt good for the rest of the ride. Masarap matulog pag pagod sa ride, nakapagpahinga ng maayos kaya on day 2 madaming energy. The second day was from Mariveles to AMONG PULO COVE in Morong, Bataan (maganda ang beach at mabait ang owner at mga tauhan). Mas mahirap yung day 2 kahit almost 80km lang yung distance, madami din kse ahon, pero you will truly appreciate the Maker of this earth, ang ganda ng bundok, batis at dagat, but of course yung difficulty na naranasan ko ay ayon sa level ng power ko sa pag padyak, maaring madali syo ito pero sa akin mahirap na. Wala din masyadong tindahan along the road kaya dapat kahit tubig madami kang dala.

On the 3rd day we cycled 22km from Morong to Olongapo, first few kilometers pa lang kita na ang nakatingalang daan na nasa harapan namin, hingal, hinto, hinga. Medyo weak ang feeling ko that morning, tirik na ang araw ng pumadyak kami at dehydrated yata ako, pero sumaya na ako nung palusong na at nakarating kami ng Victory Liner Bus terminal Olongapo before 12 pm and decided to take the bus ride to Caloocan, fare was 300php per person free ang bike.

We cycled from Caloocan to Bulacan and parted ways upon reaching Marilao.
This bike tour is one of my few training rides for longer-distance touring next year. Sana sa mas malayong lugar.
