With grateful hearts, we celebrate the successful staging of the 1st Mayor's Cup: Pickleball For-A-Cause, held on June 29, July 1, and July 3, 2026 at the Tuba Municipal Gymnasium, Tuba, Benguet. 🥒🎉
This tournament was more than just a celebration of sportsmanship, it became a platform for compassion and unity. Through the generosity of our players, sponsors, partners, and donors, we were able to extend financial assistance to the Gensan Earthquake Victims and provide partial financial assistance to the DSWD Baguio City Branch.
This meaningful event would not have been possible without the unwavering support of so many individuals and organizations.
Our heartfelt gratitude to:
• Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong for his generosity and active participation.
• La Trinidad Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan for his generosity and active participation.
• Tuba Municipal Mayor Clarita Sal-ongan for her invaluable support of this event.
• Mr. Denver Laoyan and the Tuba Gymnasium Community for their help and wholehearted support.
• The 1st Mayor's Cup Committee: Mr. Erwin Galang, Engr. Enrico Garcia, Ptr. Robert Hidalgo, Mr. Sam Garcia, Ms. Grace Garcia of Unica Events Management Services, for your tireless dedication, hard work, and commitment in organizing this successful tournament.
• Our dedicated volunteer referees, umpires, linesmen, and every volunteer who worked behind the scenes to ensure a smooth, organized, and enjoyable tournament experience. Ya'll know who you are!
• Our generous Sponsors: Mr. Ike Quesada, ERGE Consultants Inc., Engr. Rix Garcia, Studio Coffee, and Mrs. Ella Garcia for believing in our cause and supporting this event.
• Most importantly, to everyone who donated for the Gensan Earthquake Victims and DWSD Baguio City Branch, thank you for your generosity and outpouring of love in helping our fellow Filipinos during their time of need.
