Hi runners! 💕 We want to be more transparent with you all as we encountered an unforeseen timeline shift regarding the production of medals. Since this period overlapped with the CNY break, we had to make necessary and immediate adjustments to make sure everything is ready in time for race day. 𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑻 𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑼𝑹𝑬𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑹𝑼𝑵𝑵𝑬𝑹𝑺 𝑾𝑰𝑳𝑳 𝑹𝑬𝑪𝑬𝑰𝑽𝑬 𝑴𝑬𝑻𝑨𝑳 𝑴𝑬𝑫𝑨𝑳𝑺.

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟔𝐊𝐌 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟐𝐊𝐌 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 as seen in the photo. The medal is still beautiful and meaningful, just like your hard work deserves.

The 21KM runners will still get the original medal design — nothing changes for you! 🎉

On race day, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 Gender Watch Against Violence and Exploitation - GWAVE will be handing out medals 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐥𝐲 to all finishers. We thought this would be a meaningful way to add a little surprise and it also gives 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡.
