The truth is, Kapawa Performing Arts is not funded.

We don't have a regular budget. We don't operate from a large institution. Many of our rehearsals, productions, transportation, costumes, and community projects happen because people choose to give their time, talent, and resources—not because they're paid to do so.

Yet we continue to exist.

We exist because there are young people who deserve a stage. We exist because culture deserves to be passed on, not forgotten. We exist because we believe that the arts can transform lives, build confidence, preserve heritage, and strengthen communities.

Every performance you watch, every workshop we conduct, and every project we bring to life is made possible by volunteers, partners, parents, mentors, and individuals who believe that culture is worth investing in.

Now, we're inviting more people to become part of this journey.

Whether you can volunteer your time, share your skills, sponsor a project, donate materials, provide transportation, or simply help us reach more people by sharing our story—your support matters.

Kapawa Performing Arts is sustained not by funding alone, but by a community that believes the arts should remain accessible to every young dreamer.

Agriculture is very personal to me because farming is one of the primary livelihoods in our municipality.
I also witnessed how vulnerable they are during disasters. Sang Typhoon URSULA, ang pagbaha sa Balasan naglala pa gid bangud sa pag-collapse sang dam sa Barangay Batuan. Ang resulta sini amo ang pagkalumos sang mga ka-umahan, pagkadula sang mga pananom kag pangabuhian sang madamo nga pamilya. That's why supporting our farmers should go beyond appreciation—it should include resilient infrastructure, disaster preparedness, and sustainable agricultural programs that truly protect their future.

As a cultural worker, I believe our farmers are not just food producers; they are also guardians of our heritage. Ang ila pagpangabudlay nagapadayon sang aton kultura, tradisyon, kag identity bilang mga Ilonggo.

Kay kon suportahan naton ang aton mga mangunguma, indi lang kita nagaprotekta sang ila pangabuhi, kundi ginaprotektaran man naton ang aton kultura, aton pagkaon, kag ang bwas damlag sang masunod nga henerasyon. Kay ang mangunguma ang kabuhi sang banwa, kag ang ila paglaum amo ang aton responsibilidad.
