The UC Jaguars Arnis Team once again proved their strength, discipline, and competitive spirit after a commendable performance at the Palarong Panlungsod 2025, held on December 20, 2025, at Irisan National High School.
Facing skilled opponents from various schools across the city, the Jaguars showcased not only technical excellence but also the core values of arnisโrespect, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Their efforts were rewarded with an impressive medal haul, highlighting the teamโs dedication and rigorous preparation.
Leading the charge was Zharen Jael Yumi V. Nota, who delivered a dominant performance in the Featherweight Division, earning the Gold Medal and claiming the championship title. Her composure, precision, and tactical mastery set the tone for the teamโs successful campaign.
Adding to the medal count, John Stephene S. Juliano displayed remarkable grit in the Pinweight Division, securing the Silver Medal after a hard-fought series of matches. Meanwhile, Jameia Ramchelle B. Gabayne showed resilience and determination in the Half Lightweight Division, capturing the Bronze Medal.
The Jaguarsโ podium finishes continued with Nicole C. Abidal, who clinched a Bronze Medal in the Pinweight Division, further cementing the teamโs presence among the cityโs elite arnis practitioners.
