In line with the mission and vision of Spikers Academy, and Coach Clarie's goal of giving the youth more opportunities to pursue their passion for volleyball, we are proud to announce the establishment of the SPIKERS INVITATIONAL LEAGUE, an annual volleyball competition that will be held every August to September.

🏆 THE FIRST SPIKERS INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

Join us this August 31 to September 1, 2026 for the very first Spikers Invitational League!

This is more than just a competition for a championship title.

We are launching this league to give our Spikers players and other young athletes an opportunity to compete, gain valuable game experience, and gain exposure as they prepare for their next big opportunity, whether it be a tryout, a City Meet, or other major competitions.

CICM Friendship Meet. A hallmark of our shared mission. A vibrant arena where camaraderie, academic excellence, and cultural creative expression meet.

Since its inception in 2007 at Saint Mary’s University, this cherished tradition has grown, not just in size, but in spirit, strengthening the enduring bonds of solidarity among CICM institutions across the Philippines.

Twelve years after last welcoming delegates for the 4th edition in 2014, Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union proudly opens its gates once more. Today, we take on the distinct privilege of hosting this beloved gathering, ready to write the next chapter of our collective history.

As we convene once again, we proudly unveil the visual anchor of this celebration—the official logo of the 8th CICM Friendship Meet, guided by the profound theme: “Rooted in Faith: Journeying in Synodality.”

This logo tells a complete story of faith, culture, and solidarity. We are many schools, yet we are one CICM family.

Kapitan Abella, Coach Fajardo, and the Cubs greet everyone a happy world volleyball day! This post is for those who rewatch volleyball games and highlights (UAAP, NCAA, VNL, etc.), who support (at least) one Haikyuu!! team, and who earn scars and stars trying to do both in real life. 😅 Volleyball is always more than just a game.

Here are your 15 Grades 7-9 players who will be intensively training by fourth quarter of the school year, after the competitive months has culminated. But along the way, two from this list, will join as reserves for the official 12 (+2)! Cheery and bouncy congratulations are in order!

To those who did not make the cut, you have still multiple months and years to develop and to better than yesterday. Be proud of yourselves in being brave to stand in the tryouts!

🚨SLU-BEdS SBVT Cubs Tryouts 🚨

Here are some frequently asked questions from the three buildings in SLU Navy Base Campus

: “Will there be a second tryout for those who cannot attend on 4 July?”
: "Yes, but only if there is significant number of players. Please message this FB page to reserve your slot in the 2nd tryouts."

: “Will there be tryouts for the overage?”
: "Yes, but if there is a tournament that demands to have such."

: “Can I tryout for more than one position?”
: "Yes, but inform Mr. Bren Fajardo, in-charge of tryouts."

: "If I have passed the tryout, then who would choose my position? Can I have a say about my position?"
: "The coach always has the final say of your position, since there is biomechanics involved in volleyball. Also, consistent training equips you knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed per position.
