The "sticky hands" /pushing hands exercise complex develops reflexes and the fighter's ability to react to the opponent's actions based on
feelings and sensations rather than visual information. Exercises
also develop coordination, balance, timing, and accuracy.
At the same time, not all "sticky hands" exercise complexes are suitable for developing elements of combat techniques as they are presented in traditional martial arts.
Many exercise complexes
It is possible to modify and redesign without changing the basis and structure of the exercise. If we remove strikes from the standard exercise complexes or replace them with grabs and other targets that we need, we will get the "sticky hands" exercise for developing the technique of restricting the assistant's freedom of movement, grabs, and escaping from them, among other options.
