Congratulations to our former players, Chris Kandaro and George Vincent, on reaching the PNG National Youth Competition (NYC) Under-19 Grand Final!

Chris spent four years with us (2020–2024), while George was part of the club during the 2024 season. Both players earned selection into the NRL Bid Squad through their respective schools, Gerehu Secondary School, and have continued their development pathway into the NYC competition, proudly representing the Port Moresby Vipers Under-19 team.

This Sunday, they will take the field in the Grand Final as the Port Moresby Vipers Under-19 side takes on the Central Dabaris Under-19 team.

We are proud to see two of our former players achieving success at this level and representing our community with pride. Your hard work, commitment, and dedication are paying off.

From everyone at Swamp Ghosts RLFC, we wish Chris and George all the very best in the Grand Final. Play hard, enjoy the occasion, and make the most of this opportunity. We're behind you all the way! 🏉💪

Belated Congratulations to Tom Duffy for his debut in new colours. During his time with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Feeder Club Kenfrost Homes Northern Pride he was part of the playing squad that came to PNG and donated us the jerseys

After a hard fought with only one forward off the bench our Under 14s have Officially bowed out of the Rigo Rice Cup Tournament in the top 12 playoffs coming second best to JNR Mono Mutrus 8 point to nil.

Congratulations to one of our Under 14s player MARDINGZEL TANDOA for making it in the PNG Rugby League Academy NCD side year 7 and 8 playing squad. MARDINGZEL plays our fullback and in the halves but sometimes can cover centre position. All the best in your games. 💙🧡🖤
