Nothing big, nothing less but the opportunity to second chance in life.

We still conduct training here at Sir John Guise Stadium every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays .

THE VISION FOR CONTACT SPORTS & MARTIAL ARTS IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Papua New Guinea has some of the toughest, most disciplined, and most passionate young men and women in the Pacific. Our purpose is to channel that strength, energy, and pride into a structured sport that builds character, health, and national respect.

The PNG Contact Sports & Martial Arts Association, in partnership with Desert Storm Promotions, exists to develop kickboxing, MMA, boxing and other contact disciplines into a safe, professional, and respected pathway for all Papua New Guineans.

1. DEVELOPMENT – WHERE WE ARE GOING

Our development focus is in 3 areas:

A. Grassroots Developmen

We will take training to every province and every community. After-work training for working class people, school programs for youth, and village outreach to keep our young people off the streets and in the gym.
Training Days:mondays ,Wednesdays and Friday, | 3:30pm – 5:00pm | sir John guise stadium

B. Elite Athlete Pathway

Identify, train, and prepare PNG fighters to represent the country internationally. We are already working with elite seniors fighters form the provinces with to mentor the next generation. Our goal: PNG fighters on cards in Australia, Asia, and the Pacific.

C. Governance & Standards

We are building a nationally recognized association with proper coaching certification, referees, medical safety, anti-doping, and competition rules aligned with international bodies. This gives our athletes credibility and protection.

2. OUR PLANS – 2026 TO 2028

*Short Term – 2026
1. Weekly structured training for working class and youth in Port Moresby
2. Provincial talent identification tours – New Ireland, Gulf, Enga, Morobe, NCD
3. Host 2 national tournaments and 1 international showcase event “Last Man Standing”
4. Secure partnerships with sponsors, government, and health partners
