“Rovering to Success” is a famous book written by Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting, and first published in 1922. The book was created as a guide for Rover Scouts and young adults to help them lead a happy, successful, and meaningful life.

Using the theme of “paddling your own canoe,” Baden-Powell explains that life is like a journey where each person must make wise choices and overcome challenges responsibly. The book encourages young people to develop strong character, self-discipline, service-mindedness, leadership, and respect for others.

Rather than being a rulebook, it shares life lessons, personal experiences, and practical advice on avoiding dangers such as gambling, alcohol abuse, extremism, and irresponsible behavior. It also highlights the importance of friendship, service, nature, faith, and helping others.

“Rovering to Success” became one of the most influential books in the Rover Scout movement and inspired generations of Scouts around the world to live with purpose, responsibility, and the true spirit of Scouting.

⚜️ Jamboree PAPUA NEW GUINEA 2026 ⚜️

Jamboree PNG 2026 will be the 100 years National Centenary Scout Jamboree in Papua New Guinea, bringing together around 2,000 local and international scouts in the Pacific including Australia and NZ from 14–24 December 2026 in Port Moresby.

The event will offer ten unforgettable days filled with adventure, friendship, cultural exchange, and exciting Scout activities. Alongside the jamboree experience, strong focus is placed on sustainability, environmental protection, social responsibility, and community wellbeing. 🌱✨
