The staff and families at the PNG National Sports Institute, it's Football Club and Dart Team paid their respects to the family of Late Rudy Wild yesterday at his home in Ketarobo.
NSI staff have built a strong relationship with his grandson, Warrick Wild through the establishment of our Football club which he is the current and founding Club President.
We stand together with the Wild family to grieve their loss.
May the soul of Late Rudy Wild rest in eternal peace.

We keep going Team PNG

The first athletics session was highlighted this morning by Robert Oa, who clocked a personal best of 14.39 in the Men's 110m Hurdles to finish 10th overall.

Our sprinters then opened their campaigns in the Men's and Women's 100m Heats, where cold conditions and varying winds made fast times difficult.

The men's team was led by Pais Wisil (pictured), who produced a strong 10.58, while Isila Apkup was our top performer in the Women's 100m Heats with 12.01.

Our athletes return to Scotstoun Stadium for the 200m on Wednesday, followed by the 4x100m Relays on Friday.
