Founded in 2001 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emirates Nature–WWF has been a dedicated champion of environmental conservation for over 17 years. They have a local board of directors and represent the global WWF network in the region, a legacy of 50 years in environmental conservation, supported by over five million people worldwide.
