Empowering and creating a legacy

The greatest investment we can make in the next generation is empowering/equipping them with the right mindset, skills, and confidence to step boldly into their future. They need guidance/ mentoring, encouragement and coaching.

When we guide our youth to think critically, believe in themselves, and take ownership of their growth, we don’t just shape individuals, we shape nations.

Let’s continue to mentor, keep pouring into them, uplift, and open doors for the youth, give them the opportunity to prove themselves.
Their potential is limitless when given the right tools, taught the know-how, encouraged and an enabling environment as they grow into the leaders they’re meant to BE.

Empower a young person today, for you never know how far it will take them; the future will be in their hands to take charge. Let’s create a legacy through people.

What Would You Tell Your Younger Self?

If you could sit face to face with your younger self today, what would you say and why?

Would you offer reassurance, forgiveness, or encouragement?

Would you remind them they were always enough, even when others doubted it?

Would you tell them you’re proud even if no one ever said it to you?

Would you celebrate how far you’ve come?

Would you be more assertive, more daring, more you?

Would you have married your spouse?

Would you finally choose freedom over the fear of what others think?

Take a quiet moment. ✍🏽
Write to your younger self a letter, be honest, be vulnerable, be real. Say all the things you wish someone had told you. Then, read it out loud until you are self-aware of your younger self and gain clarity of thyself.

You may cry. You may laugh. But most importantly, you’ll release something that’s been quietly waiting to heal and step into self-love, acceptance, and growth.

This isn’t just about reflection; it’s about taking charge of your feelings, story and owning how far you’ve come.

The Four Agreements, is a must read.

This book isn’t just words on paper, it’s a guide to living with wisdom, peace, freedom and purpose. Here are a few lessons that stayed with me:

1️⃣ Be impeccable with your words.
Think before you speak. Maturity shows in how you communicate, not just what you say. Speak with wisdom and lace your words with emotional intelligence. The Bible says, when I was a child I behaved like a child… as an adult, let’s behave and speak like an adult.

2️⃣ Don’t take anything personally.
People treat you based on their level of self-awareness not your worth. Protect your peace and stop giving unnecessary consent to negativity. Be zero tolerant to negativity and things that don’t align to your values. Also, I always remember what one of my Egbon friend told me ‘ Noela don’t sweat the little stuff’. Be intentional not to sweat the little stuff.

3️⃣ Don’t make assumptions.
As a thought leader in travel and tourism, coach and a board director, one thing I’ve learned is to trust but verify. Assumptions cost time, money, and peace. Always seek clarity.

4️⃣ Always do your best.
Whatever your hand finds to do give it your all. Excellence is an act of worship as a lady of faith! The Bible says, seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 22:29. No be lie 🙌.

Omo! Heaven begins here on earth when you’re aligned with God’s will doing what you’re created to Be, Do, and Have. That’s pure bliss. Do you remember the Lord’s Prayer? Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven! God abeg give us heaven on earth Baba God😇🙏😇.

Hire the Right Attitude🤝.

My Dear Business Owners,

Skills can be taught. Experience can be gained.
But attitude? That’s something money can’t buy.

Some people receive it through solid home training, while others throw it right out the window. Regardless, your attitude is what elevates and sustains you in environments where you’re valued.

In every great team, it’s not just about who’s the most qualified, it’s about who shows up with the right mindset, a teachable spirit, a willingness to learn, a heart for growth, and selflessly pass on knowledge.

A positive attitude builds collaboration.
A teachable attitude fuels innovation.
A respectful attitude strengthens culture and culture, as we know, can erode even the best strategy or systems.

Tip:
1. When hiring, don’t just look for competence look for character, because one person with the right attitude can shift the energy of an entire team.

3. Hire for attitude. Train for skill. Build for success.

Take charge and lead your team with intention. The right team is priceless, they’ll help you achieve your desired goals build a sustainable business and leave a legacy.
