The team really do go the extra mile to ensure that people of all abilities have access to the benefits of water by providing 1:1 support specifically tailored to an individuals needs.

Hi all

As we start looking to the upcoming pool season, we’re looking for a few more committee members to join the committee.

The pool is a much-loved part of our community, and it takes a team behind the scenes to keep it running smoothly. Without enough support, it becomes increasingly difficult to open and operate each season.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved even in a small way, we’d love to have you on board. Many hands really do make light work, and every bit of help makes a difference.

We’re holding a meeting on Tuesday, April 21st at 7pm in the Woodlands School staffroom and we warmly invite anyone interested to come along, ask questions, and see how they can be part of keeping the pool running for everyone to enjoy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Regarding late payments.

Hi guys
Unfortunately this term has been a bit of a nightmare regarding late payments. Five weeks into a seven week term and i was still chasing payments.

Once the term starts the focus needs to be on lesson planning, goal setting and assessments.
Spending hours chasing payments is not benefiting the students.

Most swim schools have a "No pay no swim policy" and/or late payment penalties. I dont have either of those - I rely on goodwill and consideration.

To make things easier I will be aligning my invoices so they are due on 20th of the month prior to lessons starting, as I know many of you pay bills on the 20th.

For term 4 - lessons start in October so payment will be due on 20th September and for Term 1 lessons start in February so payment will be due on 20 January.

Hopefully this will stop payments from slipping through the cracks and save me alot of admin time chasing up late payments weeks after they are due.

The best way to support a small business is to pay on time - reducing stress and unnecessary additional admin time.

Thank you to all the parents/caregivers who chose JC Swimmers for their childs/children's swimming lessons this season.

Thank you to the schools and preschool who chose us.

Thank you to the committee members and volunteers who keep the pools healthy, clean and warm.

Thank you to the amazing instructors delivering high quality lessons and going over and above. Ive had some amazing feedback from parents this season.

WYNDHAM RESEALS on THURSDAY may affect parking for swim lessons so please allow extra time

The team at Downer will have two crews carrying out reseals in the Wyndham township on Thursday this week. Please expect delays when you’re in the area.
The areas scheduled to be resealed are:
• Alma St – From Pera St to Raglan St
• Ferry Street – Memorial Drive to Cardigan Rd
• Florence St North – From Ferry St to Alma St
• Florence St South – From Ferry St to Alma St
• Nightingale St – From Redan St to Cardigan Rd
• Raglan St – From Cardigan Rd to Balaclava St
• Redan St – From Cardigan Rd to Balaclava St

Residents should have received a letter in their mailboxes last week.
Please try to minimise street parking as much as you can.
