Great opportunity to speak in front of all our Junior Academy players about the Strength & Conditioning work we implemented during our Term One holiday programme.

I strongly believe that educating football players during their junior development years on the importance of S&C will help build faster, stronger, and more physically capable players for the future. By creating these habits early, we can better prepare players for the demands of youth and senior environments.

Players also worked in groups, answering questions around the why and how of S&C training, and more importantly understanding the direct link between S&C focused work and football related actions such as sprinting, changing direction, jumping, tackling, and maintaining performance throughout the game.

Developing strong foundations now will not only improve performance, but also increase confidence, resilience, and long term athletic potential.

🚨 Week 1 of our Wednesday night 10 week Speed & Agility block underway! 🚨

Great group youth footballers getting after it in the first session 👏

These sessions are all about developing faster, more explosive players while keeping things competitive and fun.

Expect plenty of:

⚡️ Reaction & change of direction games
🏃‍♂️ Sprint mechanics & speed drills
🧨 Plyometrics, single-leg strength & stability

We’re building the foundations for speed, explosiveness and sharp movement on the pitch, while also keeping players strong, stable and resilient to injuries and making sure they have plenty of fun in the process.

Big 10 weeks ahead for this group 🚀

There are a few spots available for our Junior group speed & agility sessions on Thursdays from 4:15- 5:15 pm.

Exciting times for our U13–U17 boys & girls in the TDP programme in 2026!

We recently held our first ever physical testing day, where players rotated through 20/40 M sprints, change of direction and power tests, injury risk screenings and a Yo-Yo test to measure repeated sprint ability.

Over the season, we’ll track these metrics to monitor progress and development while considering factors outside of football like school and family commitments that can impact both recovery and performance.

The goal? To give our players a clear framework for growth, set physical expectations and track improvement over time.

Through our partnership with Auckland FC, we’re supporting players with their physical development as they transition from youth football into the senior game ensuring that they align with standards seen in professional environments.

Proud to see our youth players applying themselves, asking questions and taking steps forward to better themselves as a player. ⚽️

If you’re lifting on a consistent basis but failing to recognise the importance of mobility, stability, power, speed and change of direction in your training then chances are that you’re missing out on a lot of opportunity to develop and leaving significant gains on the table.

📚 MASTERY BEHIND THE ATHLETE (my gift to you)

Years ago I departed NZ to play collegiate football and this experience forever changed how I view training.

During the lead up to my departure I had absolutely no idea what was expected of me.

I was ignorant and unaware to the lessons that lay ahead and was far from ready to perform at my best.

The reality was that I didn’t know what to do on a consistent basis and so I’d find myself scrolling the internet and watching random training videos on YouTube.

All this did was create confusion inside of my head because I didn’t know what was best for me.

I still didn’t know how to prepare properly, I didn’t know how to train and I didn’t feel confident in what I was doing so my attitude towards training turned sour because I genuinely began to believe that it wasn’t even worth it.

I didn’t have a plan, I was inconsistent with what I was doing and when I did find the will to actually make something happen I’d find myself just doing a whole bunch of random exercises at random times and making absolutely no progress.

Once I arrived to the U.S I was instantly exposed to a professional environment.

I learnt how to be consistent and I understood how to prepare both my mind and body for the on-going grind of training, recovering and then repeating that whole process all over again.

(Not just training, but the mindset and habits required to become an elite individual)

I strongly believe that EVERYONE can become ELITE and although it does take WORK it just starts with building a plan that works for YOU.

That is why I have written this book revealing the top lessons (11 chapters) that I’ve learned throughout this whole process so that you can:

#1 Learn these mistakes and lessons earlier than I did.

And

#2 Implement the lessons into your life instantly to build a better mindset and send you in the right path.

(Btw I get super vulnerable in this)

If you want it all you need to do is comment/reply/dm me with the work “BOOK” and I’ll send it to you directly.
