AMCC Round 2 at Hampton Downs 🏁

Samuel Chaves lined up in Supersport 150 chasing a new personal best, aiming for a 1:26 or even a 1:25 if it all comes together.

Qualifying was tight. 8th overall and 3rd in class after traffic left just one clean lap. There’s time to find, and changes to the bike and the rider have the team set up for a good day.

Big thanks to .49 for the support 🤝

Hampton Downs Track Day

Track days are where the work gets done. Into the data after every session, and this one showed the rear wheel lifting for 12 metres under brakes, plus forks that weren’t diving like they should.

Brake technique to work on, suspension to adjust, and no stress about it. Just practice and progress.

Thanks as always to .49

On the Level. Well, not so much. Alvin Wu Racing heads down south to Timaru this week to continue the teams pre NZSBK programme with some much needed seat time aboard his Yamaha R6. After a small off, his LS2 Helmets AUS + NZ performed well. Next up - Ruapuna. Let's go!
