🏁 Urgent call - We need a few more karts on the grid for champs...you might be able to help!

We’re making one last call to our members who may still be thinking about entering this year’s Christchurch Grass Kart Club Champs - or thought they missed the cut-off date.

We’re light on entries in a few grades, so if you’ve been sitting on the fence about entering, now’s the time!

We know there are plenty of things that can get in the way - school holidays, the date, finances and everything else that comes with life - but if you’ve thought “I’d love to have a crack at the Champs” and just haven’t got around to entering yet, we’d love to hear from you.

Even if you’re unsure or unsure if you qualify, get in touch with us and have a chat. You might just help us fill a few more spots and make this year’s Champs even better. 🏆

With a large band of wet and cold weather arriving tomorrow, we have decided to cancel this month's racing.

We know you’ve been waiting for them - this year’s Christchurch Grass Kart Club Champs entry forms are finally here!

Payment can be made online to account 02-1268-0121553-000 (Account Name: Christchurch Grass Kart Club), you must include your kart number, first name and last name as reference for payment.

With memberships also due for renewal, you’ll need to complete both your Club Champs Entry Form AND Membership Renewal Form and get them back to us at one of the upcoming green sheeting dates, or bring them along to this weekend’s race meeting.

🟢 GREEN SHEETING IS REQUIRED
Any kart competing in the CGKC Club Championship in October must pass green sheeting and have the appropriate CGKC tag allocated.

Remember, all participants must be current financial CGKC members and have completed 3 race meetings prior to Club Champs.

🏁 Give Dad what he really wants this Father's Day...a day of racing at the Christchurch Grass Kart Club 👨‍👧‍👦💨

We’re back on the grid, Sunday 6 September, for another day of racing at Gardiner Fields - our last meeting before the CGKC Club Champs!

With it being Father’s Day, we’re putting the racing Dads head-to-head in a special Le Mans-style race to find the fastest father on the grid 🏆

📍 Sunday 6 September - Gardiner Fields, 1230 Weedon's Ross Rd, West Melton - Spectators are FREE!

Race Day Times:
• Sign-in & Scrutineering — 8:00am
• Drivers’ Briefing — 9:30am
• Racing starts — 10:00am

Another cracker of a weekend for round 2 of the Christchurch Grass Kart Club Winter Series - great weather and race after race of clean, competitive racing.

A big shout-out to the drivers who travelled from Timaru, Ashburton and Tasman - legends! We hope to see you again for the next round before our 2026 Christchurch Grass Kart Club Champs in October.
