Great training last night. Getting back in that routine

Gear, warmup body, warmup arm, coaches choice then a fun game.

Lots of really positive plays last night mixed in with some learning.

Kia Ora e te whānau

Looking at training for tee ball on a Friday afternoon at 5pm.

I’ll do a poll on it shortly for this but the time is flexible. Can you comment on this? Is that too early?

I’d like to give this one last good nudge this side of the season. We have enough to field a team but, only the same four (ish) children come to training.

My time is filling up now so it needs to be productive and I want us getting to a point where we actually play against another team by the end of the season.

The other thing I’m considering is putting a $20 fee on each child for the rest of the season to see if that helps with attendance so that everyone is more invested? Sometimes I feel because it’s free, I don’t get that motivation.

All thoughts at this stage and I’m not hating on anyone - I’d love for this to work and the numbers are there.

There are always options for Tamariki with HBC as well as three of us ladies are now playing down there.

Also yesterday I played for HBC Div 3 social. The team is so lovely and we had a great time. This opportunity is open to our women’s players so you can get some game time.

We can car pool or go do some shopping before/after a bit of Softball. 🥎
