🔥 What an epic last two weekends of racing!
Started last weekend at Taupo then this weekend at Manfield.
Dad placed 2,3,1 in Taupo with his fasted ever lap of 1:31.9
I placed 10,9,9 with my PB of 1:30.8 which is 2 seconds faster than my original PB
This weekend at Manfield
We struggled a little bit with set up on both bikes then accounted an issue with dad’s bike which had a big vibration when going into hard braking spots. We spent most of Saturday trying to solve the issue by swapping wheels,brakes and adjust suspension and nothing solved it. I then went out on his bike for a warm up today to find the slipper clutch not operating as it should. Unfortunately we didn’t get the time to rectify the issue so dad had to work around it and use the clutch when down shifting.
Race 3 for today Dad had noticed the clutch not working as it should causing the bike to not go into gear when downshifting so he just limped it to finish the race and gather some points!

For myself I had a great weekend once we got the suspension sorted.
Managed to also get my fastest lap time around Manfield 1:06.7
