We're the Women’s Football Centre, we run free sessions teaching the basics of football to support more women and gender diverse folk into the game for the first time or after a time away.
We also hold social events and tournaments designed for All Women of all levels.

We're independent of all football clubs and are run by women and gender diverse folk who come from across the region wanting to share our love for the game in a fun, safe, supportive and non-judgemental space.

Yesterday was a good one ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Women’s Football Social Tournament + Pop-Up Skills Lesson yesterday. We loved seeing so many of you out there playing, supporting each other, and just enjoying the game in the beautiful Welly weather !

Tournament day is tomorrow !!

We can’t wait to see y'all at the Women’s Football Social Tournament!

🕧 Arrive by 12:30pm and be signed in
🏁 Approx finish: 4:30pm

Expect an afternoon of football, good vibes, and some great tournament awards up for grabs.

There’ll also be a sausage sizzle thanks to New World Newtown.

Need a bit of recovery between games?
The activation & recovery zone from Habit Health will be set up with massage, taping, and injury assessments available on the day.

Just coming for the free lesson and want to know more? 👀

Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly football skills lesson before the Women’s Football Social Tournament.

This lesson is for women and gender-diverse folk aged 18+ who want to learn the basics in a supportive and non-judgemental environment !

You might be:
• completely new to football
• returning after a break
• looking to build confidence before joining a team
• keen to move your body and meet new people

No experience needed. No pressure.

What to bring

No team? No problem. We know organising a team isn’t always easy, so we’ve made it simple.

You can sign up as an individual and we’ll place you into a team! Individual players can be placed into teams in both our Social-Competitive and Competitive divisions.

Want to play with a few friends?
Each player just needs to sign up individually, then add your friends’ names in the registration comments and we’ll group you together.
