CCW Winter Throwdown

CCW Winter Throwdown CrossFit Central Wellington presents The Winter Throwdown, an annual mixed pairs partner competition for the Wellington region.

Event to be held Saturday 3 July 2021. A Lower North Island mixed pair partner Throwdown. We don't specify a "grade" but we generally program for intermediate through to Rx to make this a more achievable competition for a larger audience. Please see prior year workouts on this page to gauge difficulty levels. A friendly three workout competition plus a hotly contested Semi-Final and Final. All gym

s are invited to participate. All extra funds raised will be going towards a local charity chosen by the CCW community. All fundraising will be added to our event Givealittle Page and we also invite our spectators to provide a koha to the page or in cash at the event. Who are they and why?

Barnardos Aotearoa is New Zealand’s largest children’s charity, working alongside tamariki and whānau so every child has the opportunity to thrive, no matter their circumstances.

We support more than 30,000 tamariki, rangatahi and whānau each year through an integrated approach spanning early learning, social and community work, care services, our What’s Up counselling helpline, and advocacy.
